Womanifesto

Women Power Connect is an active member of the "National Alliance for the Women's Reservation Bill". As an Alliance consisting of over a thousand members, we were able to brainstorm and collectively agree on what are the essential issues facing women in India today and identify 11 key demands political parties should meet.  The "Womanifesto" (released on 6th March 2019) lists these 11 demands of women's organisations from all over India.  

As we come closer to the national elections, women will be wooed by political parties who have recognized that women are a voting block.  It is important that alliances identify what women want at this stage and present the same to candidates.
